I was getting used to capturing panoramas during this Japan trip. On a lightly rainy day trip in Nara, I tried to build on that. To say the least, this was an interesting angle. No, the path doesn’t curve at the point where I’m standing below. I just haven’t moved around where I should’ve have to take a proper panorama.
Still, this is a neat angle, giving an idea of what eyes see with exotropic vision.
This was taken inside the Kasuga Taisha, a shrine built as the prefectural capital was established and belonged to the powerful and prominent Fujiwara family. It houses the spirit that protects the city.
The name Kasuga (春日) translates to “spring day), which I recommend visiting the shrine on.
