Haiku #13: Love like a wilting flower

To commemorate 20 years of Amélie, I present to you a haiku inspired by the movie. I was going to write it in French, but the silent letters make maintaining the 5-7-5 syllable format difficult for me.

I left “romance” as アイ instead of 愛 so it could also be interpreted as “I.”

After this piece is published, I am taking a week off from writing blog posts to focus on final projects.
