The World in Full Bloom: Hydrangeas by the Hudson

Rarely do I venture outside the World Trade Center when I’m in the Financial District, but I’m glad that I took a walk to Pumphouse Park.

Between the Hudson River and Brookfield Place is a small park covered by the shade of trees. There are usually well trimmed hedges on the ground, but in early summer, there are vibrant hydrangeas in pink and blue.

When the sky dims and the string of lights at the nearby restaurants are lit, the scene becomes more magical.
