It is rare for me to write about sports. Perhaps, it is rarer for a graphic to be requested for The Ticker’s sports section.
For an article covering the CUNY Athletic Conference’s men’s All-Star basketball game selection, a graphic was requested featuring the three Baruch College students picked for the game.
The graphic I came up for it was something. I apologize for the quality of the illustration of Adnan Bajrami. The reference image for him that I was given was low in quality, and I’d already finished his part in the illustration before I realize that there were other reference images out on the internet. I would’ve had to reorganize the arrangement of the players too.
The choice to write “CUNY ALL STARS” on the bottom was a choice. The original idea was to illustrate a banner with those words, but I was running out of time before the deadline and went with what I had.
