If you can’t figure out how to read the Latin name, you could also refer to this fellows as “sea walnuts” or “warty comb jellies.” These folks were photographed at Mystic Aquarium in Mystic, Connecticut.
Both nicknames reference their interesting shape, but they remind me more of LED lights for a party than a walnut. I don’t recommend trying to touch them.
