Today’s doodle comes from Quarantober 2020. For the window prompt, I naturally thought of a line from “Times Are Hard For Dreamers” from Amélie the Musical. The London cast album is nominated in the musical theatre category of the Grammy’s tomorrow, so I’m rooting for the cast wholeheartedly from across the pond.

Times Are Hard For Dreamers

I loved the doodle so much that I turned it into a postcard. My hand got tired of drawing the same illustration, so I stopped doing handmade versions in October. I received an overwhelmingly positive response for the design, and people wanted it in their postcard collection as well. I wanted to do send it their way but add more detail to the sign to the content of fellow dreamers, so I mass produced 100 copies using Black Friday discounts.
I’m glad I connected with other dreamers through this simple design.
