Instead of a haiku or photo, today I have a short poem I wrote for an elderly couple in separation at a hospital. It’s one poem that I divided in slashes, each side written on separate postcards. My intention is for the couple to put them together when they are reunited.
Hearts in Sync
Two hearts / together
always / forever
Beating in / synchronized
Harmony / like a choir
