I illustrated this on a postcard back in August, It’s my take on Claude Monet’s 1873 painting, Les Coquelicots (also known as “Poppies”). I saw it for myself at Musée d’Orsay a year ago this month.
I had the intention of sending this to someone, but I want to keep it for a while longer so I can try to recreate the illustration on another postcard.
