If I could, I’d spend my summer break exploring the city. That is probably not going to come easy this year, even with the city reopening. Still, I’m glad that I spent most of 2019 heading to Midtown after classes.
Across the East River from Gantry Plaza, UN Headquarters is insight with the Chrysler Building, MetLife Building, and Empire State Building trying to make an appearance. To get a good look at the UN Headquarters and East River, I recommend going to the lookout between the Tudor City apartments. There, you can feel the refreshing breeze from the water. You shouldn’t swim in it though.
