This photo was taken a little over four years ago on a tram ride. I took a lot of photos during my Amsterdam, so much that I had to delete some (unfortunately) because I was running out of space on my old computer. That was before I had a sturdy space archive. Luckily, this photo survived the cuts, but I do wish that I didn’t have to remove some tulip shots.
When I look at this photo, I can’t help but think that this is very Amsterdam-esque. In the background, there are Dutch-style apartments. In the front, there’s a bridge over a canal with bicycles and a car on it while a boat is under it. Even the gray sky fits the city’s aesthetic.
If it were any more Dutch, there would be tulips and cheese, but they probably aren’t far from where this photo was taken.
