This was taken on Roosevelt Island. I was there for the Cherry Blossom Festival, but I didn’t get the go because the line was too long. There was also an overwhelming amount of crowding at the subway station. There weren’t enough trains to handle everyone leaving the island, and the situation was the same at the ferry. It took well over 45 minutes to get onto the platform.
There weren’t a lot of cherry blossoms in bloom, but I was able to catch some by the Queensboro Bridge. A lot of people were standing there for a photo-opt. I was thee for flowers and a cultural experience.
