Haiku #8: 鏡画家

To be honest, what was published in last week’s haiku was not what I wanted for that particular post. There was more I wanted to do with the cat that would reflect the idea of the mythic Medusa rather than the jellyfish medusa, but I think this week’s haiku should suffice.

I just wanted to write a haiku with a palindrome for a title.

Kagami Gaka, or the Mirror Artist

目眺めて

鏡の向こう

夢想なる

Me nagamete

Kagami no mukou

Musou naru

***

Stare at my eyes from

the mirror’s opposite side

I am a vision
