Around the World in Cafés: Alice’s Tea Cup, Chapter II

Taken: 28 December 2019

I rarely dine inside a cafe in New York City. This day was an exception.

It was a nice day in the Upper East Side, one consisting of visiting book shop visits and thrifting. My mother and I took a break to have lunch at the second location of Alice’s Tea Cup. In the afternoon, I had a croque madame with the egg infused with the bread with a side of fries. I forgot which sandwich my mother ordered. We shared the Mad House Blend.

Should I ever return, I’d like to try their scones.
