Graffiti Everywhere: The LIC Cow

Taken 27 December 2019

During my last winter Regents exam week, in which I had no exams, I took advantage of my student MetroCard and travelled around Queens and Manhattan. The week ended with me joining my family in a stay at a courthouse-turned hotel in the Financial District. To get back home, we didn’t take a train. Instead, we took the NYC Ferry. It was an exciting first. We had to take a train after getting off at Gantry Plaza.

During the walk, I found a graffiti cow outside The Mill in Long Island City. I like how the black markings on this Holstein are shaped like the seven continents. Since that day, I’ve always wanted to return to try their menu. It’s been almost two years.
